Calabasas is expected to see highs of 94 degrees Wednesday, with winds as high as 30 mph, according to the National Weather Service. Despite the high temperatures and winds, no Red Flag Warnings or public safety power shutoffs are scheduled.

"It's a pretty significant heat wave," David Sweet, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service told the Los Angeles Times. "It's not very typical for the first week of April."
Hot temperatures could make residents vulnerable to heat illnesses. As such, residents should stay hydrated and out of the sun and should check on neighbors and relatives throughout the week.
