Weird Tweet Is Calabasas's 'Covfefe' Moment
The city sent out a cryptic tweet Wednesday that had one person asking, "Are you feeling alright?"
CALABASAS, CA — Calabasas had a "covfefe" moment Wednesday that left residents scratching their heads.
"The people with people NOT," the city tweeted at 11:41 a.m., leading one person to ask, "Are you feeling well?"
Calabasas Communications Director Michael Russo responded shortly after, "Not sure what happened with that tweet!! Very odd." Russo told Patch that he was planning to tweet admonishing residents for not picking up dog poop around the city (which published later that day), but Twitter inadvertently saved a very preliminary draft before it was ready.

By the time he returned, the unconventional sequence of words had already gone live. Russo said he decided to leave the tweet up because several people had already weighed in to ask what was going on before he aware it had published.
"I tried to answer a few of them and have some fun with it," he said. "I had my 'covfefe moment!'" Russo was referencing the famous moment in 2017 when former President Donald Trump tweeted, "Despite the constant negative press covfefe" at 12:06 a.m., leading to wild speculation about what he was talking about. There are many hypotheses, but the question remains a mystery.
