Adobe To Expand Its San Jose Headquarters
The computer software company intends to build a fourth tower.

SANTA CLARA COUNTY, CA -- Computer software company Adobe Systems plans to add a fourth
tower to its three-tower downtown San Jose headquarters, the company announced Thursday.
When completed, the proposed tower at 333 West San Fernando St. would accommodate about 3,000 employees, according to the company. This would more than double the capacity of the downtown building, which currently houses 2,500 employees.
The company is under contract to buy additional land at the San Fernando Street location and once the purchase is complete, Adobe intends to build a fourth tower, the company said. Specifics of the plans are still in development.

"We're thrilled to see many months of work with Adobe and its partners culminate in this announcement," San Jose Mayor Sam Liccardo said in a statement. The mayor said the expansion would enhance the downtown's "burgeoning momentum as Silicon Valley's urban center."
