Advantage Driving School Is Hiring Driving Instructors

Teach teens and adults the rules of the road, to be a defensive driver, and proper road etiquette. Make a difference in your community!

Advantage Driving School, the Central Coast's leader in driver education and training, is seeking several driving instructors to work in Santa Clara County. This is an immediate need and can be a full-time position or part time position.

This position requires a DMV Driving Instructor's license. We provide the state-required licensing and instructor training if you do not have a license.

Compensation will be Hourly at $16.50 (could be more depending experience)

We provide the vehicle, gas, and insurance.

Your availability must include weekdays from 9-5 (during the summer/vacation time) and 1-9pm (during the school year) and some weekends. (both Saturdays and Sundays).

Must have solid people skills, be friendly, patient, and want to make a difference in our students lives.

Must speak fluent English and have great communication skills. If you also speak spanish, chinese, other foreign language, that is a plus.

Must have a HS diploma/GED, 10 years of good driving record, professional appearance, and a social security card. Background check, DMV physical, and drug testing are required.

Must have basic computer skills and home internet access.

Must have a cell phone.

Teaching, tutoring, or coaching experience is a plus. This is a great summer/part time job for a teacher.
