Alleged Morgan Hill Shoplifter Grabs Target Electronics

Do you recognize this man who police say shoplifted electronics from a Target store in Morgan Hill on Sunday evening and fled from officers?

MORGAN HILL - Police are looking for a man who shoplifted electronics from a Target store in Morgan Hill on Sunday evening and fled from officers.

A man went inside the store at 1601 Cochrane Road just before 7 p.m. and cut off tags to electronic items that he placed into a bag, police said.

The man then left the business but was faced by police officers who tried to place him into custody, but he ran away west toward U.S. Highway 101, according to police.

Officers set up a search perimeter with help from Santa Clara County sheriff's deputies, but were unable to find the man, police said.
