Flying Without Wings

School was about to start and we were seeking an end-of-summer, close-to-home family experience that our bored, hard to please 14 year old twin boys would enjoy.

Not an easy task to get teenagers excited about doing something with their parents.

The beach? Nah, too crowded, too much traffic, too boring.
The movies? Nah, too ordinary, nothing good playing.
San Francisco? Nah, too far away, too touristy, been there-done that.

Then, as avid Patch readers, we remembered that has been running forever for "iFly," whatever that is.

We went to the IFly website and jumped for joy. AHA! Finally something the boys haven't done that would get them excited to join us for an adventure! We booked our Family ticket online (includes DVD), chose a flight time, and drove 20 minutes to Union City.

What a blast! Truly "fun for the whole family." The staff was great, the experience well organized, and the "flying" was exhilarating. Check it out!
