This Week's Tip: Saving Electronics From Water Damage

If you drop your phone or mp3 player in water, don't panic! Try this trick and you may be able to save it.

First of all, do not try to turn it on. Put it into a ziploc bag of dry rice, seal it up, and leave it for a day. (You can also use those silica packets that come in some packaging.) The rice (or silica packets) will absorb the moisture from your electronic device.
