Campbell Native Wins National Title at North American Bridge Championship
Sathya Bettadapura of Campbell, Calif. wins national title at bridge tournament

Sathya Bettadapura of Campbell, Calif. and his team of four won the Goldman Flight A of the Grand National Teams event at the Summer North American Bridge Championship (NABC) in Las Vegas July 17 to 27. The NABCs are held three times a year and bring together more than 5,000 bridge players from across the U.S. and Canada.
The championship title is Bettadapura’s second career NABC title, following his 2004 Grand National Teams Flight B tournament victory.

The 2014 Fall NABC will be held in Providence, R.I., from Nov. 27 to Dec. 7.
