Casa di Mir Montessori School Students Raise $9,000 for Humane Society of Silicon Valley
Students hold annual Jog-a-thon; raise $4,500 in funds then meet 100% gift-match deadline for Humane Society of Silicon Valley.

Students of Casa di Mir Montessori School held the school's annual Jog-a-thon on May 3 to raise funds for the Human Society of Silicon Valley.
Students from the private school's elementary and middle school, along with two preschool students, ran a combined total of 1,468 laps—or 367 miles— at the Campbell Community Center track and earned an impressive $4,500 in pledges.
Soon after the event, the students heard that another Humane Society donor would match the school's gift if they could get their check in by May 15. The students beat the deadline on May 12, and brought their total contribution to $9,000.
