Coming Up In Campbell: 'A Music Box Dream' Ballet At Heritage Theatre

The Academy of Classical Ballet is pleased to present this spring’s performance of our original ballet, A Music Box Dream.

As the show begins, we join a young girl helping her older sister prepare for the town’s annual ball - the event of the year. As they sift through the jewelry box to find the perfect jewels for this special evening, the girls become giddy with excitement.

Once the older sister is off to the ball, the younger sister begins playing with the jewelry, dancing and daydreaming about the day she will be old enough to attend the ball. With the music from the jewelry box playing, she dances herself into a deep sleep where her dreams of the magical emeralds, sapphires, charms and even monsters come to life.
