Crews Respond To Report Of Commercial Chemical Release
A hazardous materials unit was dispatched to the scene.
SAN JOSE, CA — San Jose firefighters responded to a potential chemical release in a two-story commercial structure on the south side of the city on Saturday evening.
The incident turned out to be a small electrical fire, with no chemicals involved, the Fire Department said on social media.
A hazardous materials unit was dispatched to the 6600 block of Via del Oro about 5:50 p.m., the department said.
