The Opening Gala Concert features distinguished members of the competition jury who are also world-class pianists:

 * Antonio Pompa-Baldi (President of the Jury and Van Cliburn Medalist)

* Stephan Moller (Professor at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna, Austria)

* Namik Sultanov (Professor at San Jose State)

* Matti Raekallio (Professor at The Juilliard School of Music)

The International Russian Music Piano Competition is a California registered non-profit organization with a mission of providing excellence and education through competition and performance with an emphasis on Russian music.
