The Westmont High football team kicks off the 2011 season this Thursday night at Independence High in San Jose.
Led by second year head coach Eric Buran, the Warriors face a stiff challenge on the road to begin the new fall campaign.
After the Thursday road tilt this week, Westmont returns home to face off against Monta Vista High-Cupertino on Sept. 16 for the home opener.
