Former San Jose High School Manager Convicted Of Paying Minors To Make Porn
A former Valley Christian operations manager pleaded guilty to paying underage boys to take pictures of themselves engaging in sexual acts.
SANTA CLARA COUNTY — A former operations manager at a San Jose high school pleaded guilty in federal court earlier this week to two counts of online child enticement and two counts of receipt of child pornography.
The charges against 46-year-old Todd Baldwin were brought by federal prosecutors after he was accused of paying underage boys -- including at least one student he knew through the school where he worked, Valley Christian High School -- to take pictures and film themselves engaging in sexual acts, according to the US Attorney for the Northern District of California's office.
Other victims attended Live Oak High School in Morgan Hill.

Baldwin was accused of paying the 16- and 17-year-old victims thousands of dollars to make pornography for his consumption and to sell online. He also collected and tried to sell their used underwear, prosecutors said.
He used Snapchat, Gmail, Venmo, and CashApp to communicate with the victims and transfer money to them.

Baldwin faces between a decade and life in prison. He is scheduled to be sentenced in January and remains free on bond in the meantime.
