Police are seeking information surrounding the death of a man found near a hospital in San Jose over the weekend now considered a homicide.

SAN JOSE - Police are seeking information surrounding the death of a man found near a hospital in San Jose over the weekend that has been classified as a homicide.
At about 4:20 a.m. Sunday, officers responded to a report of a possible dead body found in the 200 block of North Jackson Avenue across from Regional Medical Center of San Jose, police said.
Arriving officers found a man who was dead, which prompted homicide detectives and crime scene unit investigators to look into the death, police said.

Police have not identified the victim or the suspect as of this evening, according to authorities.
The Santa Clara County medical examiner's office will determine what caused the man's death, police said.
