#PositivelyCampbell: Photo Show Of Good Works!
Rotary members, school and church volunteers improved two play areas on a day of community service.
On Jan. 19, the day we honored Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr with a National Day of Service, the Rotary Club of Campbell, along with families from several area schools and churches descended upon two parks in Campbell to spread 170 yards of “Fibar” around the children’s play areas.
Coincidentally, there were about 170 volunteers!
With shovels, wheelbarrows and rakes, the Fibar was moved from giant mountains in the parking lot and spread underneath swings, slides and monkey bars making a fall from the equipment much safer.
