Be the Change in a Foster Child's World

Join Child Advocates of Silicon Valley at our July Volunteer Open House orientation session!

Join Child Advocates of Silicon Valley at our upcoming Volunteer Open House orientation session in June to learn how you can serve as a mentor and friend to a child in foster care.

As a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) volunteer, you will be empowered by the courts to provide critical emotional and educational support to your advocate child and ensure that child’s voice is heard in the dependency court system.

Most importantly, you will be the one consistent adult in your foster child’s life, as well as a mentor and friend.

Who Can Be a CASA Volunteer? You do not need to be a lawyer or social worker to be a volunteer. We welcome people from all walks of life. We are simply looking for people who care about children and have common sense.

As a volunteer, you will be thoroughly trained and well supported by professional staff to help you with each child’s case.
