Dr. Laurie Marker, founder and Executive Director of the Cheetah Conservation Fund, and the world’s leading cheetah expert, presents: 25 Years of Saving the Cheetah in the Wild! at SAVANNAH CHANELLE VINEYARDS, 23600 Big Basin Way in Saratoga, on Sunday, Sept. 13.

Marker will reveal the struggles and victories from her personal journey and experiences over the last quarter-century, including:

  • · CCF’s accomplishments & broad spectrum of programs
  • · Conservation lessons learned such as how to save cheetahs and help human communities at the same time
  • · The moving and unique photography of Suzi Eszterhas

Celebrate 25 years of history and ongoing enterprise for the future of cheetah conservation. Meet Dr. Marker’s special guest - cheetah ambassador Themba.

Following the presentation, Marker will sign copies of her book A Future for Cheetahs. It outlines the life and challenges of the wild cheetah, how to save them from extinction, and it is a beautiful, tabletop book illustrated with the award-winning photography of Eszterhas.

Two tiers of tickets are available; Premium/VIP and General. Premium ticket holders have access an hour early (at 5 PM) to:

  • · Accompany Dr. Marker on a private vineyard tour
  • · Sample five different award-winning Savannah Chanelle wines

· A silent auction will include: vacations; local business services; wildlife photographs; local African-themed art.

All proceeds support CCF’s conservation efforts.

Hand-made Namibian crafts and Savannah Chanelle wines will be available for purchase. An opportunity to sponsor a cheetah will be made available to all guests.

Most exciting of all, guests will experience a real live cheetah!

General Admission Tickets: $125 per person, $175 per couple, and $40 per child (12 and under)

Premium/VIP Admission Tickets: $225 per person, $375 per couple.
