The Largest Dehydrator in the World

By 1937, the largest fruit dryer in the world was located in Campbell under the name Campbell Cooperative Dryer.

According to Jeannette Watson's "Campbell the Orchard City," the collective was made up of 50 growers.

The Dryer was also known as the Campbell Co-op Dryer.

The city of Campbell wil be celebrating Campbell's 60th anniversary on March 28, 10:30 a.m. with a small reception at City Hall in front of the glass cabinets outside of council chambers.
