$3,000 of Marijuana Stolen from Soquel Pot Club
Granny Purps was robbed by four masked men on Sunday.

A group of masked men made off with a sizable amount of marijuana on Sunday night after robbing Granny Purps on 41st Avenue.
Deputies responded to an alarm at the Soquel medical marijuana dispensary at 10:24 p.m. and found a side door had been damaged. Minutes later, an employee of the pot club arrived with keys, investigated insode and found no one in the building, Deputy April Skalland said.
Surveillance video showed that four people in hooded sweatshirts, masks and gloves broke the side door, took marijuana from on top of and behind counters, got in a car and drove away.

The estimated value of the stolen marijuana is $3,000, Skalland said.
This is the third time in two years that Granny Purps has been vandalized and/or burgarlized. In June of 2011, from the dispensary.
