80-Year-Old Woman That Went Missing Is Found Safe

CAPITOLA - Police in Capitola said they located an 80-year-old woman Saturday afternoon who went missing Friday night near Santa Cruz.

Graciela Lopez was found at 2:30 p.m. at the Capitola Mall at 1855 41st Ave. in Capitola.

Lopez was safe and in good condition, according to sheriff's officials.

Graciela Lopez was last seen walking near Jose Avenue and Capitola Road in the community of Live Oak around 7:30 p.m., according to sheriff's officials.

Lopez lives at an assisted living facility on 17th Avenue, but failed to return Friday evening.

Lopez will receive a medical evaluation and return to the assisted living center.
