Bicyclist Killed in Monterey County

The cyclist was hit by a car.

A bicyclist was fatally struck by a car in unincorporated Monterey County east of Prunedale this morning, according to the California Highway Patrol. The victim’s name has not been released.

The collision was reported at about 6:30 a.m. near San Juan Grade and Crazy Horse Canyon roads, according to the CHP.

No other information about the collision was immediately available from the CHP.
