SANTA CRUZ COUNTY, CA – To help you enjoy this year's fall season throughout the Santa Cruz area, peruse this town-by-town guide for all events sweet and scary.

We've rounded up entertainment from the ghoulish to the not-scary with trick-or-treat extravaganzas, trunk-or-treats, haunted houses, carnivals, fall festivals, and included a few upcoming Oktoberfests, too, from the beaches to inland cities.

OCT. 20: 'THE MISSING ARM' Spooky Walk: Big Basin Redwoods. "Ranger apples cooked around the campfire and storytellers round out this festive family event."
