The search for a 32-year-old Santa Cruz woman is focused in Big Sur where her car was found this week, a Santa Cruz County sheriff’s spokesman said today.

Maria Boisa was last seen on May 12 by her sister, who reported her missing on May 27, sheriff’s Lt. Kelly Kent said. Boisa is described as standing about 5 feet tall and weighing 111 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes, Kent said.

She likes to wear purple hooded sweatshirts, according to Kent. Boisa suffers from medical conditions that place her at risk, the spokesman said.
