Sea Otters with Chris Law

The Citizen Science Series returns with Ph.D. student Chris Law and a discussion of his work with sea otters. Chris is pursuing his doctorate in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology and is broadly interested in Musteloidea: otters, weasels, badgers, raccoons, and skunks. How do physical differences between individual sea otters affect their ability to feed? Find out at Citizen Science.

The Citizen Science Series is made possible through a partnership with the Children’s Museum of Discovery (MOD), The Santa Cruz Natural History Museum, and UCSC. The ongoing series of science programs for adults & teens include a talk followed by Q&A and discussion. Citizen Science will be held on the 1st Thursday of every month at 6:30pm at different branch libraries in the 10 branch system.
