Council to Discuss Future of Pacific Cove Mobile Home Park
The beginning stages of talks for plans for the empty lot will start Thursday evening.

The time has finally come for the residents to move out of the Pacific Cove Mobile Home Park.
The park was deemed unsafe after , and the city will take down existing homes starting July 31. But that means the city must plan for the future of the property. That discussion, along with talk of an increased hotel tax, will take place at Thursday's meeting of the Capitola City Council.

- Capitola Police will give a presentation on the .
- The council will appoint a new member to the Capitola Historical Museum Board.
- The council will make a tentative plan for future use of the land where Pacific Cove Mobile Home Park stands. Many have suggested a parking structure go in that area.
- An increase in the hotel tax will be discussed for possible placement on the November ballot.
