Council to Talk Take-Out Dining and Commercial Recycling

There's a mixed bag of agenda items to be discussed at Thursday's meeting of the Capitola City Council.
Perhaps the most noteworthy will be the discussion of a take-out restaurant in Capitola Village.

- Peter Dwares will appeal to the council to reverse a decision by the planning commission which disallowed him from opening a take-out restaurant in the Village that sells alcohol.
- On the Consent Calendar, the council is expected to adopt an ordinance mandating commercial recycling.
- The council will discuss appointment to the Capitola Historical Museum Board for its terms ending next month.
- The New Brighton Middle School Environmental Club will make a presentation (cute kids on a microphone).
