Crews Extinguish Blaze At Capitola Office Building
The fire was Sunday night on 41st Avenue.

CAPITOLA, CA -- A fire burned through a structure Sunday evening in Capitola, according to Santa Cruz County Central Fire District officials.
Fire officials said firefighters responded to a one-story office building on 1240 41st Ave., shortly before 7 p.m. on reports of heavy fire.
According to fire officials, the fire was in an attached storage room and had extended into the attic space.
Firefighters forced entry through the back to attack to fire.

The fire was under control within 45 minutes and contained an hour and half after the arrival of firefighters.
Firefighters remained on scene for several hours ensuring all hot spots were extinguished and salvaging office supplies.

There were no reported injuries, and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
