Deputy Had Santa Cruz Co. Motorist’s Back: Photo

The deputy helped give this driver the push he needed to get back on the road.

SANTA CRUZ COUNTY, CA — Chilly evening temperatures did not deter this deputy from helping a motorist stranded in Santa Cruz County Tuesday night. The night shift deputy got out of his patrol car and gave the driver the push he needed to get back on the road safely.

Residents lauded the deputy's efforts on social media.
