Drop-in Writing Workshops for Adoptive Moms with Magdalena Montagne
Three Friday mornings in November: November 4, 11, 18 from 9:30-11:00 a.m.
Adoptive moms share a unique bond. In this workshop series, we'll use poetry and prose as a means of exploring issues around adoption: waiting, uniting with your child, talking about birth parents and/or birth culture, differences between and similarities with biological motherhood. We'll also discuss ways to find your voice and record and share your adoption journey. These workshops are appropriate for all levels of writers (both poets and prose writers), for those who have already adopted, and those who are thinking about it or are in the process. Drop in on any or all of these writing groups to go deeper in your writing and in your life.
