We'll take a look at the book industry, including e-books and self-publishing, children's literature, the traditional publication process -- plus ideas to help writers become authors, and sell their work.

Bring pen and paper; highlights will include the Q&A session and the writing/creativity exercises.

Presented by longtime editor/proofreader Laurie Gibson, whose projects have ranged from "The Color Purple" to several titles by Brian Tracy, the bestselling business author. Laurie also taught for the UC Extension system for nearly a decade.
