Farm to Table Dinner Cooking Class

Fresh vegetables and fruits are abundant all year in Santa Cruz. Eating seasonal foods isn’t only good for your body but good for the planet. Join us in a class that will focus on Community Supported Agriculture (CSA). Each month feature one of our wonderful local farm's and their bounty and teach you how to use seasonal produce. Learn to prepare meals that are delicious and nutritious. Learn some culinary skills and gain nutritional information along with great recipes you can re-create at home. This month we will feature Berry Blessed Farm and Delicious Heirlooms

Asparagus and Fava Bean Risotto- Red and Golden Beet Salad with pickled onion and borage flowers-Sweet Anne strawberry pie with a nut crust and whipped cream-Green garlic, purple scallion, and fennel gratin with gruyere cheese-Minted Spring salad  with sweet Anne strawberries and edible flowers -Kale and purple Orach sauté and a delicious beet hummus
