Fattah and Mohamad of AZA at New Beet Cafe

New Leaf’s own Fattah is back by popular demand. Fattah Abbou and Mohamed Aoualou are Berbers native to the High Atlas mountain region of Morocco, where they played and studied music for over twenty-five years, and are recognized as master musicians. They play Traditional Tamazight (Berber) music that features an array of traditional North African instruments including banjo, lotar, oud, sinter, rehab, bendir, garagib, and other percussion instruments. Stop by for a few minutes or the whole set. Enjoy a different band each Thursday.
