
Jeff Blackburn's, known as "Buck", musical career started out in the '60's in the Bay Area with a duo, Blackburn and Snow and since then has been deeply immersed in the Santa Cruz music scene when he formed close associations with prominent performers such as Neil Young (The Ducks), Lacy J Dalton, Bob Mosely and Jerry Miller, Emmylou Harris and Moby Grape. He wrote and and co-wrote songs such as: "My My, Hey Hey" and "Wide-Eyed and Willin" and more well-known titles. Buck has gone on to produce 2 CDs of his own material. He now performs often, either solo or with his bands, "Buck N' The Odds" and "Buck and Friends"."
His musical style has been described as Americana, incorporating folk, rock, country and blues. His lyrics are poetic, clever and soulful. His strong, rich voice is honest and heartfelt.
