Hello to all our Friends, Chefs and Students. Please come for some fun and food and to support Let's Cook! on AUGUST 11th from 2-4pm for our OFFICIAL GRAND OPENING. The Mayor will do a ribbon cutting, chefs will be there to demo, there will be food, beer and wine tastings and there will be a raffle for some great Let's Cook! gear. But most importantly, it will support this home-grown, local business which promotes community supported agriculture and localvore food culture. Please tell your friends and family and bring as many people as you can to make it a really strong and exiting event (the newspapers will also be there). SEE YOU THERE!!
Also, the grand opening will be followed by the first of the Cooking With the Masters Series classes at 6:30. This class will celebrate Julia Childs' 100th birthday and will include some of her greatest recipes.http://www.letscooksantacruz.com/class-calendar/celebrate-julia-childs
