We're taking over Britannia Arms in Capitola Village (110 Monterey Ave.) to watch President Barack Obama and Governor Mitt Romney square off for their first face-to-face battle.
Patch will provide appetizers and plenty of fun Patch-themed items (need a new t-shirt?), so come eat, watch, talk and enjoy the beachside debate.

The actual debate begins is from 6 - 7:30 p.m., but we'll be the party starts at 5 p.m. for happy hour and will wind down by 8 p.m.
