CAN YOU DIG IT WORKSHOPS
The 2012 season of the Master Gardener “Can You Dig It” gardening and lifestyle workshops are ‘hands-on’ this year. From plant propagation to succulent wreath making, not only will you learn — you’ll go home with a finished project from the workshop. Instructors will provide a demonstration and then invite you to try your hand at DIY gardening activities. Can you dig it? This weekend: Pique Assiette — Art from a Broken Plate
Start gathering those extra tiles from the kitchen remodel and the sentimental plates from Grandma. You will learn how to turn them into practical mosaic pieces or one-of-a-kind decorative works of art. We will have all the materials needed for young and old to create a trivet or tile a small pot as a Mother's Day gift. This is hands-on and hands-dirty — wear old clothes and come have some fun!
