As part of Aptos Yoga Center’s second anniversary, all-day celebration, Kathleen Avalon will perform a puppet show of an uplifting Jataka tale,“Golden Foot.” A royal stag is captured by a hunter who then has a change of heart. After the puppet show, Kathleen will guide children in making butterflies out of felted wool. Avalon is the director of The Magic Garden Preschool/Homeschool. Waldorf trained, her specialty is puppetry arts. Inspired by Puppets for Peace, she has given performances and led puppet making workshops for many years.
