Feeling Lucky, Capitola and Soquel? Just 6 Numbers Stand Between You and $415 Million

No tickets were sold Tuesday with all 6 winning numbers. Tonight's drawing is the 3rd largest Mega Millions jackpot in history.

BAY AREA, CA -- There were no tickets sold with all six numbers in Tuesday night's drawing of the multi-state Mega Millions lottery and the estimated jackpot for today's drawing will grow to $415 million.

Presuming it reaches that amount, it will be the third largest jackpot in the history of the Mega Millions game and the largest since 2013, according to officials.

One ticket each with five numbers, but missing the Mega number, was sold in New Jersey and Texas. They are each worth $1 million, according to the Multi-State Lottery Association which conducts the game.

The numbers drawn Tuesday night were 15, 17, 20, 35, 55 and the Mega number was 7. The estimated jackpot was $390 million.

The drawing was the 31st since the last time a ticket with all six numbers was sold.

The odds of matching all five numbers and the Mega number is 1 in 258,890,850, according to the Mega Millions website. The overall chance of winning a prize is 1 in 14.71.

The Mega Millions game is played in 44 states, the District of Columbia and U.S. Virgin Islands.
