Free Whooping Cough Vaccines Coming Before School Starts
Six free clinics will be offered in the next couple of weeks, starting Wednesday.

Santa Cruz County health officials are offering free whooping cough vaccinations for middle and high school students next week and throughout August.
A new state law requires students entering grades 7-12 receive the Tdap vaccination before classes begin this fall.
Vaccination clinics will be offered throughout the county starting Wednesday. The county has teamed up with community health center Salud Para La Gente to provide six free clinics for families and schools through Aug. 18, county health officials said.
