Help Santa Cruz Police Identify This Armed Robbery Suspect

The surveillance photos are from the 7-Eleven store on Mission Street.

Last week on Wednesday, Aug. 20, an armed robbery occurred at 3:25 a.m. at the 7-Eleven store at 2429 Mission Street in Santa Cruz, according to police.

The suspect took a carton of cigarettes at gunpoint from the store clerk, the Santa Cruz Police Department said.

Police released these surveillance photos to seek the public’s help in identifying the man.

The suspect is described as: white male in his late 20s to mid-30s, approximately 6 feet tall and 175 pounds, with a goatee beard and moustache and possibly a tattoo on his neck in calligraphy-style writing, police said.

He wore dark pants, a blue and white checked shirt, blue bandana and sunglasses.
