Isla de Cedros: Island of Fog. Flora of N.W. Baja California
Photographic tour of flora of a desert island in N.W. Baja California, Mexico

Michael Uhler will give us a tour of this desert island, located off the west coast of the Mexican state of Baja California, through his amazing photos of its flora. A perennial adventurer, Michael works at the East Bay Regional Parks Botanic Garden, located in Tilden Park in the Berkeley Hills.
With over 2,000 native plant taxa, of which 1,092 are endangered, endemic or rare, Northwest Baja California, Mexico, is one of the most important, and least protected, parts of the California Floristic Province.
Come early and join in with the plant keying club, 5:00 pm to 7:30
