Lincecum Donates $25,000 to Bryan Stow Fund
Stow, whose parents live in Capitola, is still in a coma two weeks after being beaten outside of Dodger Stadium.
Giants' ace Tim Lincecum announced Thursday via his Facebook page that he has opted to donate $25,000 to the Bryan Stow Fund.
Bryan Stow is the Giants fan, originally from Scotts Valley, who was beaten outside of Dodger Stadium on Opening Day two weeks ago. His parents are Capitola residents.
"This was a senseless act of violence, and I wanted to help out Mr. Stow and his family," Lincecum said on Facebook. "I encourage Giants fans to support Mr. Stow in a positive way and hope there are not any more unfortunate acts between fans in this great rivalry."
