Lofty Goals More Attainable With a Little Help from Local Celeb, Steven Lenhart!

THE SCC BREAKERS 98 GIRLS ARE GEARING UP FOR A DEMANDING 2014/2015 SEASON

The SCC Breakers 98 Girls are ’going for it’ in the upcoming 2014/2015 season! As last year’s League Champions for the Silver Division, they are now playng at the Gold level.

Coach Rob Petruzzi took over the team at the beginning of the Spring Season. His new perspective, which put players in different positions has been very healthy for the team which enjoyed a successful Spring League as well as placing 3rd in the Breakers Cup and 1st in the Soccer By the Bay tournament in August. The Breakers 98G currently hold the 43rd rank in Cal North. The goal this year is to drop into the 20’s by the end of the season.

Other lofty plans for the upcoming year hopefully include a trip to Canada in June/July 2015 to watch the Women’s World Cup and compete in an out-of-country tournament! This would be a once in a lifetime trip for most if not all of the girls, who will be 16 years old on this trip.
