Man Shot Dead Outside Soquel Apartment
Deputies are investigating the Sunday night incident.

SANTA CRUZ COUNTY, CA – A man died in a shooting Sunday night outside a Soquel-area apartment, according to the San Cruz County Sheriff's Office.
Deputes, responding shortly after 10 p.m. to the Emerald Bay Apartments at 2500 Soquel Drive, found the 26-year-old victim unresponsive and suffering from a gunshot wound. Medical efforts were administered, but the victim, whose name was not released, succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene, deputies said.
