Missing Bakerfield Man's Car Found In Watsonville
The 24-year-old was reported missing in August, police said.

Santa Cruz County sheriff’s officials said today they are asking for the public’s help in locating a 24-year-old Bakersfield resident who has been missing since August.
Sheriff’s deputies said Ryan Jacobs was first reported missing by a family member to the Bakersfield Police Department on Aug. 26.
Ryan has medical issues that place him at risk if he is not treated, according to the sheriff’s office.

Sheriff’s deputies found Jacobs’ car, a 2012 white Toyota Yaris hatchback, parked in the 100 block of Riverside Drive in Watsonville. The vehicle was locked and the keys were gone, sheriff’s officials said.
There were no signs of foul play.

Nearby residents told sheriff’s deputies that the car had been parked in the same spot for two months. Deputies searched the immediate area and could not find Jacobs, according to the sheriff’s office.
Sheriff’s officials said Jacobs had previously attended the University of California at Santa Cruz and was familiar with the area.
They are requesting anyone with information pertaining to Jacobs’ whereabouts to contact the Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s Office dispatch at (831) 471-1121.
