Missing Capitola Man Rescued From Soquel Creek Bed
The 74-year-old man, who was considered "at risk" due to health issues, went missing early Sunday morning.

SANTA CRUZ COUNTY, CA — A Capitola man who went missing from his home early Sunday morning was rescued from a Santa Cruz County creek bed Monday afternoon. The Santa Cruz County Sheriff's Office Search and Rescue Team and local law enforcement searched the area for Martin Fox, who was considered “at risk” due to health issues.
Just before 1 p.m. on Monday, rescuers found Fox in the Soquel Creek bed near Coffee Lane.
"We are thrilled to be able to report a successful resolution to this near tragedy," sheriff's office officials said via social media.

Authorities said Fox was taken to a local hospital to be treated for exposure and is expected to recover.
