SANTA CRUZ COUNTY, CA – A sunset, a double rainbow and stormy skies -- beautiful images and reminders that sometimes we need to stop, take a breath and admire the landscape that surrounds us.

The Capitola sunset was captured in early November by Mikaela Martorella, who also shot the pre-storm view of Capitola village in late October.

The morning double-rainbow was photographed in late October by ‎Marie Martorella.
