Nearly Three Dozen Capitola-Soquel Residents Run Bay to Breakers
A bus load of locals made their way to San Francisco for the 100th annual Bay to Breakers race.

Thirty-three residents of Capitola and Soquel traveled to San Francisco for the centennial of the Bay to Breakers race on Sunday.
Martin Mannion of Capitola had the most impressive showing, finishing the event in 1:16:28, putting him in the 82nd percentile overall. Also showing well were Amra Saunders and Melisa Joseph of Capitola who ran the race with a final time of 1:21:25, good enough for the 84th percentile among women, and the 75th percentile overall.
Every local participant deserves major congratulations for representing Capitola and Soquel so well.
