Patch Picks: Holiday Grocery Shopping

Grocery shopping is easy in Capitola-Soquel. We have all the big names, plus a farmers market in Aptos, a fish market and a pair of produce markets. Just outside of town, Santa Cruz offers any options that might be missing within our three zip codes.

On Monday, we asked where you prefer to grocery shop in , which is still open for voting. 

We went around to your top five choices and surveyed the aisles for seven items that frequent holiday recipes. We searched out each location's cheapest prices for the items and listed them below.

The grocery stores are ordered from cheapest to most expensive on average for the seven items. It's important to note that the order may or may not be indicative of other prices in each store. In addition, remember that you can often sacrifice quality when bargain shopping.
